Amaretto Bitter
Ingredients
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Rich Simple Syrup 2:1
- 3/4 oz Jamaica Rum Overproof
- 1/4 oz Aperol
- 1 1/2 oz Amaretto
- 1 Egg White
Garnish
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in a mixing tin.
- Dry shake.
- Add ice.
- Shake for 8-10 seconds.
- Double Strain in a coupe.
- Garnish.
- Enjoy!

Leandro, I did not know this was one of yours when I made it. (not sure where I got the recipe from) Great Sour cocktail though! The Aperol adds a nice flavour edge and makes a great coloured cocktail. I did pick the right Rum, but considered Wray & Nephew so the Aperol Colour would show up more.
I made this cocktail and it was awesome. I like the subtle bitterness that it has instead of the sometimes overly sweet Amaretto Sour. Nicely done.
