Finally, a bartender has made an Amaretto sour into a crave-worthy drink. Before Jeffrey Morgenthaler created this expression most people had a love-hate relationship with The Amaretto Sour.
On the one hand, you want to love it, on the other, it’s cloyingly sweet and off-balance. Thankfully those days are over!

Ingredients

 

OZML

• 1 1/2 oz Amaretto
• 3/4 oz Bourbon Booker’s Bourbon
• 1 oz Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp Simple Syrup 2:1
• Egg White

Garnish

• Lemon Twist

Instructions

 

• In a cocktail in, add all ingredients.
• Dry Shake.
• Add a large chunk of ice in a chilled smaller rock glass.
• Garnish.
• Enjoy!
