This cocktail was created by Travis Levitre for the Bludsos BBQ menu in Los Angeles. Travis named it “Hub City” as it references some history behind the business and where the owner grew up. Titled “Private Plane” on the menu it was his spin on a Paper Plane.

Ingredients

 

OZML

• 1 oz Bourbon Old Forester
• 3/4 oz Amaro Nonino
• 3/4 oz Amaro Angeleno
• 1/2 oz Triple Sec Fair Kumquat Liqueur
• 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
• 1/4 oz Honey Syrup 50/50 Cut Honey
• 1 dash Peach Bitters

Garnish

• Lemon Twist

Instructions

 

• Add ingredients into shaking tin.
• Add nice big scoop of regular cubes ice.
• Quick Shake for proper dillution and until chilled.
• Double strain into large coupe.
• Express lemon peel.
• Properly garnish with nice cut lemon twist.
