"As the weather is starting to get colder and my tiki obsession not yet quelched, I needed to create a warming, rum heavy, tiki drink to get me through the next few months of winter. I often make old fashioneds and this was the next logical step to creating a drink that was equal parts warming and strong while still keeping some of those tropical flavors. I also really enjoy the texture that the banana syrup adds to the drink."
