Created by NYC bartender Audrey Saunders in the early days of her career around the year 2000, this drink helped reintroduce drinkers to Gin after many years of being the red-headed stepchild of vodka. It’s essentially a south side done up as a mule.
Instructions
- Add to tin and muddle.
- Shake with ice for 8-10 seconds.
- Strain into a highball glass.
- Top with ginger beer.
- Enjoy!
